Who am I and what are my competences?

I am a physician at the University Hospital Münster and at the moment assistant consultant for medical microbiology, hygiene, and infectious diseases at the University Hospital Münster. My professional interests include molecular identification and epidemiology of bacterial pathogens, especially of MRSA. I am specialized in sequence-based typing of MRSA (e.g. spa, MLST).

What is my contribution to the project?

Sequence-based typing of MRSA, help in questions of microbiology and hygiene concerning MRSA and the establishment of MRSA screening programs.

What can you ask me (according to the project)?

Interpretation of MRSA typing results, questions concerning microbiology and hygiene measures of MRSA, especially in hospitals.
