Who am I and what are my competences?

I am a PhD-student at the University of Twente, faculty of Behavioural Sciences, Department of Communication Studies. I graduated in Communication Studies at this University and my masters were "Marketing communication" and "Journalism and public relations". Last year I did different kinds of research, e.g. a systematic review of telemedicine-interventions for diabetic patients.

What is my contribution to the project?

During four years I am occupied with the development of the MRSA-webnet, particularly based on usability research. The first year is planned for synchronisation of Dutch and German guidelines for the prevention and control of MRSA as well in hospitals as in public health. After that, those new guidelines will be implemented and tested by means of thinking-aloud-research among the target groups (physicians, nurses, patients et cetera). Also a needs assessment will be executed to determine which applications (q&a, forum et cetera) different target groups would like to see on the MRSA-net.

What can you ask me (according to the project)?

Questions according to MRSA-guidelines, and later on this year theories about persuasive and instructive communication, national and international legislation about MRSA and implementation of guidelines in organisations. It's also possible to ask me anything about thinking aloud-research and other research methodologies.
